Support for the People of Lang Son Province in Overcoming the Damages Caused by Typhoon Yagi (Typhoon No. 3)
In recent days, due to the impact of Typhoon No. 3 - Yagi, prolonged heavy rains have occurred continuously across Lang Son province, causing floodwaters to rise and flooding in many areas. The typhoon has caused widespread flooding in various parts of the province, particularly in rural and mountainous regions. Many houses have been damaged, hundreds of hectares of crops have been washed away, and much of the infrastructure has been destroyed, directly affecting the lives of the people, especially poor and vulnerable households. The total estimated damage caused by the typhoon and floods is over 900 billion VND.
In order to mitigate the aftermaths of Typhoon No. 3, the Department of Foreign Affairs of Lang Son Province calls on international organizations, individuals, and our compatriots abroad to promote the spirit of 'mutual support' by joining hands to share and provide practical assistance to help the people of Lang Son Province quickly recover from the damage caused by the typhoon and flooding. Any support, whether large or small, will serve as an important source of moral and material encouragement, helping the people to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and restore production.
