Lang Son introduces a pilot tour of "A journey of healing and discovery: returning to inner awareness"

On June 6, 2026, the Lang Son Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, in collaboration with Vietnam Expeditions Company, organized a pilot cultural and spiritual tour entitled “A journey of healing and discovery: returning to inner awareness”.

The program took place at several iconic attractions, including Nhi Thanh Cave, Tam Thanh Pagoda, Tien (Fairy) Pagoda, and the Mac Dynasty Citadel, located in Tam Thanh Ward and Luong Van Tri Ward. These sites are distinguished by their outstanding historical, cultural, spiritual, and geological significance and they are key destinations along the tourism route within the UNESCO Lang Son Global Geopark.

Unlike conventional sightseeing tours, this new tourism product is designed to offer immersive experiences, seamlessly blending indigenous spiritual heritage, ancestral culture, and distinctive natural landscapes.. Beyond prominent heritage sites and historical landmarks, the pilot tour provides visitors with a tranquil and contemplative spiritual experience, aligning with the growing popularity of healing tourism. Throughout the journey, participants take part in a range of meaningful activities, including offering incense, presenting lotus lanterns, enjoying tea, and sharing a vegetarian meal, allowing them to experience a sense of peace and serenity while restoring emotional balance and renewing their spiritual well-being.

The tour also incorporates distinctive cultural experiences, such as wearing traditional costumes and artistic photo sessions at heritage sites, further enhancing the tour's appeal, creating unique highlights, and enriching the cultural identity of the tourism product.

The pilot tour is intended to diversify the province's tourism products while progressively refining and improving service quality to meet the growing demand for green, sustainable, and culturally authentic tourism. Through this initiative, Lang Son's tourism image will continue to gain wider recognition, the connections among culture, spirituality, heritage, and tourism will be further strengthened, and the heritage values of the UNESCO Lang Son Global Geopark will be more effectively promoted, thereby contributing to the province's socio-economic development./.
