Inauguration ceremony for the canteen of a boarding school funded by the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam at be beginning of the 2024–2025 school year
On September 5, 2024, in Kim Dong commune, Trang Dinh district, the Vietnam Red Cross Society, in collaboration with the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, held the inauguration ceremony for a canteen of Kim Dong Commune Primary School at beginning of the 2024–2025 school year.

The ceremony was attended by leaders from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province, the Party Committee of Provincial Agencies Bloc, the Provincial Red Cross Society, the Department of Foreign Affairs, and Trang Dinh district. Representing the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam was Counselor Zhou Wen.

The inauguration of the canteen at Kim Dong Commune Primary School is part of the "Canteen Construction and School Nutrition Support" project, which was a non-refundable aid by Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, totaling 200,000 Chinese yuan (equivalent to over 600 million VND). The project aims to improve living and nutritional conditions for students at Kim Dong Commune Primary School, encouraging regular school attendance and engagement. The project includes constructing a new canteen for students, equipping it with necessary kitchenware, and improving meal quality for students at satellite schools over one year.
During the event, the Vietnam Red Cross Society also presented gifts to students under difficult circunstances at the school.
